Good design, loving the background. Your tree-drawing technique is really effective. My primary issue with this: I can't tell if he's standing or pushing off the tree. If it's the former, he looks like he's about to fall over, if the latter he's leaning over a bit much and has no foot in that direction ready to hold his weight.

And--forgive me for this--where're his twig and berries? The clothing looks rather effeminate, which is fine, but with no substance under those shorts this screams "female."
